Received automated message from an Unknown # stating a purchase in the amount of $79.99 was made on my default card saved on Amazon.com. If I made this purchase and recognize it from amazon.com to simply hang up an my order would be delivered in 2-3 days. However, if not to call Amazon billing and fraud prevention department @ 866-370-0151. I have no purchases showing on my amazon account for $79.99 and my saved default card for Amazon purchases sends me a text when a transaction has been made, so this "call" is obviously a fraudulent/scam.

Message stated a purchase of $1270.99 to Amazon default card. Checked my account. No pending orders. Also my default card sends a msg of any charges made or declined because of suspicious activity. SCAM!

Claimed to be Amazon and that a purchase of $1270.99 was just made on our account. If we didn't make the purchase to call them. We did not call.

Fraud/ scam call

Call from someone stating they were with Amazon to check on order placed on my account. Call this number back if didn't place a $1200 order. SCAM

got a call from man saying he represented Amazon because an order was made on our account. He said to call this # to stop the order but it was an elaborate scam collecting bank and credit card info and convincing us to send money to people.
