NEUTRAL	NEUTRAL over 4 years ago by Art Snow As I noted in another comment, this caller actually did have the amount that my credit card, plus late fee, was in arrears; but, still, the called ID was "Private number". Why would my credit card company be using a private number. The caller could, still, be a scammer. So, I will, now say that I'm "Not sure".
UNSAFE	UNSAFE over 4 years ago by Art Snow The caller said that my American Express account was $205 in arrears. He was insistent that I make payment, or talk to the "resolution center". I told him that I couldn't make a quick decision without going on line and determining how much I could pay. He insisted that I make a payment; so, I said I would pay half. He still wanted me to talk to the "resolution staff". I said thanks, but, that I would take care of it. He was still trying to persuade me; but, I said, "Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I didn't realize that I had missed payments". When I checked my check-register, I saw that I had made timely payments to American Express. I, then, searched the internet to find that other people had been contacted by this scammer. So, yes, it is a scam from 801-945-9067.
