Real Estate Scam - call appears to originate from 480-535-9742 in Arizona on the caller ID but the pre-recorded voicemail message states return calls should be made to 480-400-9742. The 480-400-9742 number is to a Peerless Network Of Arizona which appears to be a call distribution center. The voice message is similar to the female "caller" who wants to buy a home, but it is a man. He states "My wife and I love your home and would like to purchase it." This is most likely a Real Estate Group looking to purchase and resell homes for profit. They hide their identity so that they skirt Arizona Real Estate laws by burying their true identity and purpose from any interested party. Remember, anyone who is legitimately looking for a home to live in would NEVER spoof their telephone number or have the call answered by a vague message like this one does. These callers are attempting to avoid the Do-Not-Call laws by hiding their true identity and purpose. If you need to sell, don't call this person. Call an authentic honest Real Estate Agent. |
