It was Spectrum, phoning from one of many numbers it uses nationwide in a relentless campaign to hawk its wares. Spectrum also phones from (805) 219-8411, (844) 791-7356, (855) 206-7181, (866) 210-7707, and possibly (888) 471-7146. If Spectrum believes that carpet bombing the nation with robocalls will win friends and influence people, it should read Dale Carnegie's classic 1936 book on this topic.
