got an email saying they were from norton life lock and that for safety my email has been locked it has been and i reported it to norton

email said i had ordered norton antivirus and invoice already paid. email address: Quickbooks: [email protected]

Called to say they were “Amazon” and that I’d made a $1200 charge, asking me to call back.

Left VM (computer generated) said "You have been charged $1279.99 on your default card saved on Amazon.com - if you have made this purchase on Amazon.com and recognize it then simply hang up the call and your order will be delivered to your address in 2 to 3 days-- however if you have not made any such transaction you then immediately call Amazon billing and fraud prevention department on the toll free number which is 844-562-0514."

Left a voicemail saying my account was used to make a suspicious amazon purchase. Encouraged me to call this number and speak with "Amazon fraud prevention". Instead, I went to Amazon.com and confirmed that this was not true.

Received vm saying charge $1279.99 on my amazon account. Checked acct no charge. Said call amazon Fraud dept at 844 562 0514

Automated VM left claiming a charge of $1279 made to Amazon default credit card. Call back to Amazon Fraud Dept.

Recorded message to confirm a $1,279 order from Amazon. We did not place such an order.

So I did an internet search for Amazon Fraud Prevention Department and it tells you to report to FCC etc.
