Just received a call from this number, this is the best scam call ever. Identified himself from Citibank, confirmed my name, mentioned there was a Zelle transaction that they deemed fraudulent. I confirmed I did not authorize it. Said he was going to send me a text with a new login name and password. Text came from an 808 number, and he asked me to read the credentials back to him. I started talking about all kinds of other things while I logged into my account (no suspicious activity) and he kept saying I wouldn’t see it because they had prevented it, so I asked him to tell me my last posted transaction and he tripped himself up by saying his system was down but then also saying he couldn’t see it anyway because they “protect” my information. I told him if it was really Citibank, he would have no problem with me disconnecting the call and calling back in and he started to freak out and say that would permanently lock me out of my account. I disconnected, called Citi, and sure enough, no fraud. This was a really good scam call.

I received a call from this number and the person indicated they were from Citibank Fraud department. it was a scam and they ended up taking money from my account.

Received this call 3:46 AM on August 21, 2021.

Tripped the voicemail but didn't leave a message. Gotta be a scam.

I received a call from this number, 800-248-4226, on March 9, 2021. 10:50 AM, of course they left no message so I didn't return their call. Today March 18, 2021, I decided to call them back on a Saturday. When the operator, robot picked up the phone, I listened to a menu of options to apply for credit from City Bank credit card. I'm blocking this number.
