this is google maps I called it back . Not sure why they are having humans do their calls . Apparently the robo call gets hung up on and it is not getting up dated .

Called today (July 22, 2022) saying it waws from Google Maps and it needed to update information. CallerID says Redwood City, California. They called on my landline. I don't know if it's a real person or bot. I hung up as soon as it said it needed info.

Said he was from Google Map..asking if we closed on July 4th and to update

Caller ID Redwood City, CA. An automated system, stating calling to verify our hours on a recorded line. I hung up I stay on top of our Google info/updates for our business. I hung up.

Call came from Redwood City, CA, claiming to be from Google Maps. Wanted to verify our business hours. Told him I wasn't interested and hung up on him. They have called numerous times in the past.

talked to them once asking about our hours. claims to be from Google. Now calls at least once a week, never leaves a message.

Call as google automate asking is closed for Thanksgiving. Sound like a human. It replied to a question I was about to ask without me completing the question. Odd. Whe yo call the number, it state is Google

The called identified himself as Google Maps and wanted to know our business hours on Thanksgiving. I asked why and he repeated that he was from Google Maps and needed to know when we open and close on Thanksgiving.

Called office phone stating he was calling from google maps and he wanted to know if we where open on Thanksgiving??? Which was odd because why would Google Maps need to know this. Sounded a little shady but no sure.

Very odd call, someone stating to be from Google Maps, wanted me to keep repeating answers and line was being recorded. Shifty and shady.

Of course, it is scam. Google ranking, SEO, health insurance - whatever scam flavor they can think of each day of their POS worthless life. These POS just can't help themselves when they are able to change their #s with help from phone cos. 1st, Google will not call. 2nd: CID will show it is Google. POS scammers always call from CID Unavailable and hang up after the 2nd ring which is their POS MO. Never, Never answer these calls. Block 1 # and 55 wake up from their POS graves. # blocked. May they rot and burn in hell.

Automated but can respond to simple answers. I asked if I was actually speaking to someone and it responded that it was an automated.

Called numerous times. Won't leave a message

Gov't office received call from a male at 650-206-555 claiming that he was from google maps. He stated we were on a recorded line and he need to verify the office's name due to the Covid 19 pandemic. He acted like he didn't hear, and asked for me to confirm the name. I repeated the name. He asked if the office was opened. I informed him the office was closed to the public. Very suspicious!

Calls pretending to be government, businesses, or family and friends was reported by a user from San Gabriel via FTC. This call was reported as a robocall.

Unwanted Spam Call was reported by a user from Oregon via FTC.

Unwanted Spam Call was reported by a user from Menlo Park via FTC.
