Robocaller, calls and usually hangs up or disconnects. I called the number back using a disposable number and was greeted with the following recording: Thank you for calling the "Fund Raising Center". If you are not interested in donating to this cause, press one, to end this call press 2"..... My recommendations are as follows. (1) Don't call them using your cell or home land line number or any other that you do not want them to harass you on. (2) Don't press any numbers... Just hang up and move on with your life. Calls from this number are is LIKELY nothing more than a ruse designed to help scammers, telemarketers and other assorted nefarious players VERIFY that they reached a working phone number that will be answered by a live human. |
