This company or person called me saying that they are from the U.S. Treasury Department. He told me I was randomly selected from 17,000 people in the state of California to receive a Federal Grant. It sound real but I should of known better when he asked me to give him my bank info which I did. Then asked me to purchase an iTunes card of $100 in order for them to identify me and be able to transfer the money from their bank. He told me since I only paid $100 I was only going to receive half my Grant money of $4000 plus $100 I spend on the Apple iTunes card. Then he said the bank wasn't able to process the transfer because I had to pay $250 to receive the full amount of my Total Grant of $9800 plus the $250 that "would be reimburse to me" so with the $1050 would be transfer in my bank account. He even stayed on the phone with me while I purchased the Apple iTunes card and to old me he needed the serial number on the card to see if it really purchase the card. I think I was robbed from this agency and now someone has my bank information as well. I thought it was real because I had went online to a Treasury site to see if I had unclaimed Federal money owed to me. So I thought this could be real.... It's fake! These foreign speaking people are very good at convincing you it's real. They said it was government Grant money.

Caller claimed that the government was giving me a grant. Caller was not a native english speaker.

Scam don't know why they called me.
