A message was left that an Amazon order for an amount I did not catch, would be shipped if you disconnect the call. I called back and it said, "Thank for calling Amazon". I spoke to someone named Shane. They claim someone opened an account in my name and placed orders that one was shipping overseas and one in the US that was out for delivery today in TN. They asked if I knew two names: Dominick Brown or Edward Joseph Cassidy, of where these shipments were going to. He asked me to verify my name and phone number. I gave a partial order number that was left on my voicemail that I thought is not long enough to be Amazon's. He said he needed to speak with his supervisor and put me on hold. I hung up because I found this site stating this was an unsafe number. I opened a chat with Amazon.com and he confirmed the order number is not an order and not to worry. They will escalate my account to be investigated just in case but I would be contacted via email if they found anything.
