This is the number that our house phone showed as its origin. It is a scam and probable spoofed number as I looked it up and the caller said he was in New Jersey but the number originated from Kingsport TN., the state we live in. He claimed to be from Dish, our tv provider, offering $25.00 reduction in our monthly bill for the next 10 years, or the rest of our lives? because they were moving their sattelite and our reception quality may not be as good. He then started asking questions that he should have known about paswords, home address, etc. My wife never gave him financial information and he stated he could not get into our account because our password was incorrect. Eventually, he hung up. He also had a very strong foreign accent. I called Dish and the first auto question was a number they asked me to verify, which was true. When I connected with Customer Service he said it was a scam and we changed our pass and security codes. This is an outright SCAM and most likely a spoofed number.
