Man with accent, very hard to understand, on a broken up line, stating he was from Verizon and my account had a hold on it. Bill not paid (it was) and someone trying to purchase 2 new phones (NOT ME!!!I). Very hard to understand, trying to get approval for 2 new phones on account, asking for my last name, not understanding what I said because line was not clear; he hung up and called me back. Told him didn't think he was from Verizon and was going to call and find out what was going on and hung up! |

Received call saying my Verizon account has been suspended. Called Verizon direct and they said my account had not been suspended and was in good standing. They (Verizon) are aware of this and have been working with the FCC for a resolution. |

This number is a scam. Recording comes on saying your Verizon account has been suspended and to press 2 for a live person. They answer as Verizon but when I said I am not inclined to give you any information over the phone given I don't know if this is really Verizon and it said my phone was suspended but I am talking on it now. After I said this they disconnected. |
