NEUTRAL	NEUTRAL 11 months ago by JC This is the legitimate Chase Bank number to CALL, not to receive calls from. Just spent 10 minutes arguing with a scammer trying to get me to send a wire transfer to counteract a fraudulent wire transfer (that never happened) before hanging up and calling the number back to reach the real Chase representatives. He called 10 times in a row and managed to get out that he was trying to help me before I hung up again. It was quite a game. I finally blocked the number and alerted Chase that these scammers are using their 800 number to clean out their customer's bank accounts.

UNSAFE	UNSAFE almost 2 years ago by Edmund The scammer asked me to fill up a link for refund for 200 dollars. He asked me to enter $200.00 but when I did it the decimal disappeared and became $20000. He said I over drew $19800. He said I could confirm by calling the 1-800-935-9935. When I called the voice belonged to Chase and confirmed that my account had $19800 more. He then asked me to pay back the overpayment by overseas wire transfer. Fortunately at the last minutes I did not do it because it sounded so suspicious. He asked me to lie about the transfer for the personal repaid to an old friend.
