Yeah it’s people spamming whatever database holds all phone numbers tied to domain name purchases/registrations. Can’t block cause they switch up the fake number they call from.

551-699-8008 This number called me twice in a row. First time they claimed to be techinal support, I immediately hung up. They called me back within seconds and asked why I hung up, I've blocked my number so they can't call again. Caller was bilegerant when he called back. Had an accent from India or maybe Pakistan.

Called me about a domain name. I recently registered a domain name but the one they referred to was not mine. When I told them that was not my domain they hung up. Looks like it's happened to others besides me as well.

I just got a call from this number, before the caller hung up, the background noise sounded like someone outside in the rain or in a storm. No words spoken. I called back and the line is busy. Also, I recently renewed a domain registration a few days ago and have been swamped with spam email since then!

Ever since I registered a domain name with GoDaddy I have been bombarded with scammers calling me from India and Algeria. I picked up the phone when this number called and they just hung up.
