Claimed to be calling from Verizon claiming my most recent payment check had gotten damaged in the mail so I still owed last months balance. He wanted me to pay over the phone with a credit card. The heck of the matter is that the check I had sent Verizon cleared my account the week before. DEFINITELY a scam. |
