Doesn't stop calling and leaving voicemails saying there will be a warrant out for my arrest and every time it freaks me out but reading these comments reassured me that I wasn't a criminal lol

Left a message saying call the IRS immediately before I warrant is issued for your arrest

I called the number and was informed that they were looking for an "Edward". I told them that my number was not associated with that person and to stop calling me.

Same thing, a warrant out for arrest. Some garbage that was calling last year. Just hang up.

I received a voicemail saying it was the IRS so I called back. They proceeded to tell me that I was going to be arrested today for tax fraud. They said I could set up a payment plan today and stay out of jail but if I call an attorney I would be facing 5-7 years in federal prison and the $3,200 I owed would then be over $42,000. I had no idea what was going on and my daughter and I were scared to death. Luckily I just said "I'm calling my attorney" and hung up. I called an attorney and found out this is a scam. It's horrifying and these people need to go to jail. This all started through Facebook! I received 2 crazy "hacked" messages through the messenger before this happened!

This number called me, left a voicemail saying there was a warrant for my arrest. I called back thinking it was a collection agency looking for friend to use my phone number. They said they were the IRS and they were looking for me that I had a past due from 2003. Considering that exceeds the statue a limitation to the IRS I pointed that out to them. They insisted that they were able to collect And they had use the GPS to track me and they were sending the sheriff with a warrant for my arrest. I told him I would contact the IRS myself to verify. And hung up.

This number called me for the first time and left a voicemail saying that I needed to call them back immediately to get more information before my arrest warrant is released. I called them back and they said they are the IRS and that my tax returns had been audited from 2011-2015 and that I could go to jail. They read me a script of tax terms and that I had committed fraud. (First of all, I know my tax returns are correct). I go on to stop him midway his speech and asked why haven't I been mailed any information about this audit. Why is this the first time I'm hearing of this audit? He said they had sent me a certified letter to pick up at the post office and it was returned back to them because I didnt pick it up. And goes on to say that is why he's calling me so that I can pick up the certified letter. (At this point, I realize this is not legitimate and is probably a scam) I tell him the IRS would first notify me in writing of any audits or concerns, I find it hard to believe that the IRS would send a certified letter to inform me of these frauds you claim I committed. (I know I have not committed fraud in tax forms) The are using scare tactics and threatening jail time right away if you do not respond to their request. AT this point I know this all is very suspicious and I told the man on the phone that I was going to report him to the police because they are probably trying to scam others. I am not falling for these threats. This is not legitimate because the IRS would not handle it this way. NOTE: Do not fall for the scare tactics and threats of going to jail for tax fraud. This number is supposed to be in Washington DC. I goggled this up and found others have received similar calls. *Do not talk to them.

Called said I owed taxes and a law suite was filed. Called the number and they ask if I was Julius and I told them to f*ck off

Said I owed money to the IRS and that I would be arrested? I dont owe money and all ways file my taxes.

Called saying IRS is filing a lawsuit and to call them back to avoid arrest. Called the IRS no such lawsuit existed.

Said IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and to return the call.
