Texted me to call them about student loans - I get multiple calls about this daily and if I ever question it, they get snarky and/or hang up.

Scam!

I live in Canada and I get ghost calls and texts from these numbers daily. About 5 or 6 a day. Sometimes I answer and waste as much of their time as I can before hanging up on them.

Classic student loan scam. Call them and see (via Google Voice). If you call them out on scamming you, they'll say they'll put your number in the "priority call list" and call you via their personal phones to verify if your number is real. That's when you capture their caller ID info and go to town.

Scammers and violated no call list, like they care.

They called twice and texted once about student loan forgiveness.....I have no student loans.....I asked the caller if he knew who I was, based on my phone number....and how much my student loan balance was...and he hung up on me....so the only explanation is that this is a scam.....

These pathetic morons have no respect for the Do Not Call List

Called and text several times! I finally called back and they asked me if I had student loans. I said yes and they hung up.

They keep texting me from various fake numbers to call the 800 number found here.

Left a text message saying I’m eligible for student loan forgiveness, despite me having any student loans

Sent me a text saying, "Alert: Your account is flagged for possible student loan forgiveness. Call 800-964-8647 for more information about these payment reduction programs."

Constantly calling stating my student loan agency is being sued. Contacted Nelnet who advised me that they are not being sued and that this is a scam. When I talk to the people they transfer me over to some lady in India. I ended up blocking them and now they're constantly sending me text messages.

After blocking their robo line, they sent a text to me with this number. When I try to tell them this was taken care of in bankruptcy court in 1994 and to stop calling, they hang up.
