I answered, said 'Hello', and no response from caller-side, but line is still engaged. I said 'Hello' again, still no response but a few seconds later the call just dropped off or fizzled out. I have had several of these types of calls lately. Once I played "Fake-a-Fax App & call ended or fell off. Then I blocked call. I will also block this call. It is easy to block on iPhone.

receive harassing calls but no one answers

I just called CoreTel and left a message on their fraud / law enforcement voicemail. Sick of whoever this is.

They always call and never say anything if I do catch the call. Finally just called them back today and they deal with a "financial issue" but won't give details until you confirm your personal info for "security" reasons (had last 4 of social) but are obviously script reading and will not give any info and, of course, I refuse to give out personal info without some knowledge of who they are. They're now just blocked.

Silent calls are the worst. You don't know if it's a bad connection, a scam scheme or an automatic message.

They called my number several times but didn't leave any message.

When i picked the call, no one spoke from the other side.

No message left. When I returned the call, they answered "Thank you for calling Wholestead"

picked up the phone and there was just silence. Eventually the caller hung up
