UNSAFE	UNSAFE almost 7 years ago by It's of Male called from (203) 983-5988 and said "U.S. Department code ****** your student loans are . . . . " as far as he got before disconnection of the call. Translation pressed the end button and powered down the phone. Never received a message from them no idea if they've called previously. Conversent Communications Of Connecticut LLC is the name of the VOIP company they are using. Researched the number it leads to no businesses but lots of complaints from student loan consolidation, credit card interest rates lowered to cruise offerings. As one complainant put it "They are only calling to get your personal information to defraud you. Hang up!" Calling people promising hope to get out of debt to perform identity theft.
